Max Payne 2 Due in 2004

In its most recent quarterly earnings, Rockstar's parent company announced that Max Payne 2: The Return of Max Payne is officially in the works for PlayStation 2 and Xbox and that the game will appear on consoles in the first quarter 2004.

While unofficial news of the game's appearance on consoles was always assumed (following the first game's PC-then-console patterns), it's now fact.

Expect IGNPS2 to have full details of the PS2 version as soon as humanly possible.
