Jedi Academy Finished

Knights of the Old Republic is fine and dandy, but some of us Star Wars buffs prefer our lightsaber dueling fast and our shooting relentless. For the action fans comes Jedi Academy, the Raven Software developed semi-sequel to the absolutely grand Jedi Outcast, which hit stores over one year ago.

There's still no word on when exactly we can expect to see the planned Xbox port of Jedi Academy, but online retailers are still suggesting a November release date. Never mind that! Today is a day of celebration, a day of blaster-toting joy, a day filled with the wonder and bliss that can only come from being able to hack through nearly endless waves of daft storm troopers. Yes, today is Jedi Academy gold day. Build a character, build a lightsaber, develop your powers, and then jump into a nonlinear action experience Mercenaries style. There'll be no dillydallying this time. Right from the beginning players will be given a lightsaber and basic force skills that very quickly grow into the lethal powers all Jedi knights possess. We only hope the dismemberment cheat is still intact.
