Vietcong Moves to Stores

Miss out on your opportunity to take part in one of the worst wars of our time? Here's a second chance.

Vietnam is certainly the war theater of choice recently as far as video games go. There are more than a few out and about already with more on the way. One of these, developed by Illusion Softworks, the folks behind Mafia and Hidden & Dangerous, is called Vietcong and has shipped to stores today. Now you two can enter into a terrifying environment where people are trying to shoot you for invading their home and every step you take could either land you dead or in some horrific trap that leaves you with one leg and half a testicle to your name.

Last time we saw this game we reported "Vietcong will help raise the bar in 2003," so the box says. I'm not sure which bar that is, but I hope it's one stocked full of many different kinds of tasty alcoholic treats. Look for Veitcong to hit stores soon and a full review to follow shortly.
