Mario Golf US Release Set

Nintendo also reconfirms dates for Wario World and F-Zero.

Nintendo of America today announced the official US release date for the upcoming GameCube sports title Mario Golf. The game is set to hits American retail shelves on July 28.

Mario Golf, developed by Camelot Software Planning out of Japan, is the sequel of sorts to the hit N64 game of the same name. First screenshots of the title premiered mid-last year and while few concrete details have surfaced since, rumors abound allege that the developer has given the game a makeover that should impress fans of the franchise. It will of course be fully playable at the forthcoming Electronics Entertainment Expo, where IGNcube will have full impressions.

Meanwhile, Nintendo also reiterated the real US release dates for both Wario World and F-Zero GC, both of which have recently been rescheduled several times for different debut periods. According to the company, Wario World will definitely arrive on June 23 and F-Zero on August 25. Readers would be wise to mark their calendars now.
