Link to the Past

The game hits shelves tomorrow. Here's just a couple of movies to get you in the mood.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is set to ship today, with the cartridges arriving in most stores on December 3rd.

We'll have a review of the game later this week (most likely tomorrow), but I thought you guys would get a kick out of a handful of video clips from the early part of the game, including the introduction to The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords, the mode in the game that lets four players cooperate and compete in the same dungeons through the use of the link cable.

Contrary to what you may have heard previously, Four Swords requires that each system has a copy of the game. This is not a single-cartridge multiplayer adventure. While it's a bummer that this multiplayer mode is now limited to players who own a copy of the game, chances are pretty darn good that this will be a top selling game, and it won't be hard to find a companion for this gameplay mode.

Keep your eyes peeled for the review of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the GBA later this week. In the meantime, hit the media link for the new videos.
