BMX XXX Goes Gold

Acclaim's new extreme sports BMX game is good and gold.

Acclaim Entertainment today announced BMX XXX has gone gold. The game ships to retail shelves November 15 on PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube.

"With the launch of BMX XXX less than two weeks away, consumer anticipation is at a feverish level," said Ben Fischbach, Senior Brand Manager for AKA Acclaim. "We believe that this will be a 'must-have' title for Xbox owners this holiday season."

BMX XXX is an extreme sports BMX game featuring topless women, bathroom humor and suggestive sexual behavior, and it's the third iteration of Acclaim's well-liked BMX series, which began with Dave Mirra's Freestyle BMX in 1999. The PS2 version has been edited from showing topless females, but the GameCube and Xbox versions will ship uncensored.

BMX XXX sells for a MSRP of $49.99 for all three consoles and rated M for mature.
