Dragon's Lair 3D Delayed

Moved into next year. Details here.

Publisher Encore announced today that the GameCube and PS2 versions of Dragon's Lair 3D are taking longer to finish than previously expected and that the titles will therefore be delayed until the first quarter of next year.

Dragon's Lair 3D, a next-generation update to the classic arcade game, follows the exploits of clumsy hero Dirk the Daring as he embarks upon a quest to rescue Princess Daphne from the evil dragon Singe. The title takes players through an immense 3D world filled with booby-traps and puzzles.

The PC and Xbox versions of the game, handled by Ubi Soft, are still on schedule for later this year.

Look for more details on the game in the coming weeks.
