McDonald's and Intel to Advertise in The Sims Online

Today, Electronic Arts announced that it has signed multi-million dollar category exclusive deals with McDonald's and Intel to include products from both companies in the upcoming Sims Online. But this is more than just the obligatory brand name placement in key areas.

For instance, frequently using a high speed Intel Pentium 4 in your Sim's home will increase the Sim's logic and fun attributes faster than if it were using a lower end computer just as often.

It gets better....

Sims will also be able to open up their own McDonald's kiosks to earn money, and eating at in-game McDonald's restaurants will quell a Sim's hunger and increase its fun rating, provided it doesn't contract a tapeworm first.

The Sims Online is slated for release in November.
