New Contra Footage

In an extremely brief visit this afternoon, representatives from Konami of America stopped by with an early build of Contra Advance, the Game Boy Advance Contra game that's based heavily on the Super NES Contra III: The Alien Wars. And while they were here, we thought, hey, why not snap some video of the game in action?

And, so we did.

Now, in ten minutes it's difficult to get through much of the game since, well, Contra is a challenging adventure...and we're a little rusty since the Super NES game came out like, what...a decade ago? So, we managed to score footage from most of the first level of Contra Advance.

But don't fret, we should be getting our hands on another version of the title in the not-so-distant future, so this isn't the last you've seen of the game in action on IGNpocket. Not by a longshot.
