E3 2002: First Contra Shots

Konami has finally showed off the first Contra for the Game Boy Advance. Contra Advance is a straightforward port of Contra III released on the Super NES almost a decade ago.

Along with the dozen levels and massive carnage action lifted from the console game, the Game Boy Advance version will also have link cable co-op support for two player action, as well as additional, unique levels specific to the handheld port.

Konami hasn't revealed an official release date for Contra Advance, but it's expected to be in the company's booth during the Electronic Entertainment Expo. Here's some screenshots to get you ready for action.
