Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly Shots and Info

Universal Interactive shot us a few screens today of the next-generation PlayStation 2 game, Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly. Enter the Dragonfly is the first next-generation Spyro game for PS2 and Universal plans to keep the core gameplay elements of the series fully intact.

In Enter the Dragonflies, Spyro discovers that the magical dragonflies, which empower the dragons themselves, have been stolen. Spyro must venture out into the world to re-capture all of the dragonflies, and face a horde of new challenges along the way.

The little dragon that could earns new breath abilities, including ice, electricity, and the strange bubble breath attack, and new vehicles, mini-games and puzzles will all be incorporated into this platform-adventure game.

Universal also plans to upgrade Spyro's inventory system, making it easier for players to get to the necessary tools and special attacks he'll need as well as making the menus systems cleaner and faster. Expect to see Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly in Q4 2002.
