E3 2001: More Screens of Dead to Rights

Action/adventure fans need not look any further than Namco's beautiful new PlayStation 2 game.

First revealed a couple of months ago, Namco's Dead to Rights is a US-developed third-person action adventure game that's coming out for the PlayStation 2 next year. The game puts players in the role of Jack, a cop framed for murder, who must seek out vengeance on those that killed his father.

Inspiration for the game has come from Hong Kong action films and players will be able to see this through many of the game's ultra-intense movie-like action sequences. For more details about the game, you can head over to the full preview by clicking on the link below, but if you're more of a picture person, you can just look at all the pretty screenshots in the Media section at the bottom of the page.

Namco's Dead to Rights is due for release on PlayStation 2 sometime in 2002. We'll have some hands-on impressions of the game for you as part of our ongoing coverage of the 2001 Electronic Entertainment Expo.
