Despite smashing sales records at its September 2007 release, Xbox 360 best-seller Halo 3 has been passed by an altogether more svelte competitor.
Which is it? None other than Nintendo's Wii Fit, which sold its six millionth copy sometime in February. Halo 3, in comparison, has only shifted a mere 5.9 million units: no mean total, but considering Wii Fit continues to top the monthly sales charts, it's one that's going to get left behind pretty fast.
Wii Fit's achievement is all the more remarkable given that it's been on the market for less than a year next to Halo 3's 18 months, and that it costs $90 next to Halo's $60. Whether or not you actually use it, there's a better chance that there's a Wii Fit in your household than any other current-gen, full-priced title.
