Synopsis

Reset hits the road in the fourth installment of the show. The crew heads to Austin and Chicago to check out games from Atari and Midway. The lineup is exhilarating, with the latest game based on The Matrix, a Mortal Kombat action-adventure, a brand new take on Blitz, and more. Reset also has a special treat for you, as Raymond videotapes his own adventures to give you a taste of what life on the road is really like.

Part One: Midway Table of Truth

What happens when you get some of the most opinionated journalists in the business, put them in front of some upcoming games, and sit them down for a few drinks? You get "The Table of Truth!" Electronic Gaming Monthly's Shane Bettenhausen, G4's Ted Regulski, and super freelancer Christian Nutt pull no punches as they let their brutally honest opinions fly on Midway's Blitz: The League, The Suffering: Ties that Bind, and Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks.

Part Two: Atari's Austin Adventure

The gang heads to Austin for the annual Atari University event. The team passed with flying colors, thanks in part to the publisher's impressive lineup. In this clip you'll see Shiny Entertainment's David Perry as he tells you why The Matrix: The Path of Neo will more than make up for the horrid Enter the Matrix. Atari's Kyle Peschel chimes in to tell you all about TimeShift, a thrilling first-person shooter that takes time manipulation to new heights.

Part Three: Raymond's Road Trip

Raymond wanted to give you an idea of what it's like to be on the road with journalists, developers, publishers, and PR flacks, so he taped it all himself. Using the extremely expensive, extremely unique Raymondtron 5000, he filmed five days of travels to show you the sometimes tiring, sometimes extravagant, but always excellent life of a videogame reporter. No journalists, developers, publishers, or PR flacks were harmed in the making of this segment.
