New game leads to wedding bells

LittleBigProposal

Much has been written on the subject of great ways to propose to your significant other, but we're fairly sure nobody's seen a method quite like this before.

Gamer "DimmuJed" decided to forgo the traditional down-on-one knee/hide-a-ring-in-a-cake/centerline-of-football-game routine, and opted instead to pop the question to his girlfriend in a beta version of critically-acclaimed PlayStation 3 platformer LittleBigPlanet.

One of LittleBigPlanet's biggest selling points is the ability of players to create their own levels, and share them with others. So DimmuJed secretly put together a customized level which features a candle-lit walk up to a large box bearing the legend, "Will you marry me?" The level ends with an avalanche of flowers and an ascent into the heavens aboard a heart-shaped hot-air balloon.

His next step: to sit his intended in front of the game, and film the results. Fortunately for him, she accepted, and after all the trouble he clearly went to, who could say no to him? DimmuJed had a ring waiting, and naturally we wish them nothing but the best. We're looking forward to seeing the Super Mario Bros. birth announcements already.
