Best New Games: Week of 6/30

After last week's release avalanche, it's pretty slim pickings. Guitar Hero fans (who also happen to be Aerosmith fans) will be delighted to see the release of the newest in the franchise, which concentrates heavily on classic Aerosmith cuts. Budding surgeons will also be happy to see the release of a new Trauma Center game, which will stop them from practicing their scalpel skills on random family members, pets, and dead hobos. Plus, the popular Tradewinds series gets a new episode.

Love Guitar Hero but wish it had way more Aerosmith? Then clearly you're the target audience for the aptly named Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, which features a metric ton of Steve Tyler classics, including "Walk This Way", "Livin' on the Edge," "Love in an Elevator" and "Mama Kin." The Black Crowes, Run DMC, and Lenny Kravitz are just some of the supporting acts.

Under the Knife 2 sees series star Derek Stiles heading off to a war-torn African republic to bolster its tattered medical system. Oh, and there's a mystery disease to fight, of course.
