Despite being typecast for much of his lengthy film career, Gossett's range is hardly limited to brusque officers and tough fighter pilots. The Oscar-winner also knows a thing or two about aliens; specifically the Vortigaunts in the acclaimed Half-Life 2 series, who collectively bear the great actor's voice.
