Why It's Hot:
The first Professor Layton game was an absolute gem of a puzzler, and this sequel has already sold nearly 1 million copies in Japan. With gorgeous, hand-illustrated graphics and simple point and click adventure gameplay, this is much, much more than just a collection of brain-teasers. It's a must-have DS game.
Why It's Not:
It pains us to say it, but the mind-melting Professor Layton games aren't for everyone. If you'd rather shoot bad guys than solve puzzles, look elsewhere.
