Madden NFL 10

Platforms: Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, DS/DSi, PSP, PS2
Release Date: August 14
The annual march towards a new Madden is underway. This year's model features a bazillion new features, an upgraded engine and brand new ratings for every player in the NFL.
Why It's Hot:
If we seriously need to tell you why a new Madden game is hot, we give up on you. But just in case you're one of the Oceanic Six and have been lost at sea for like a decade, here's one reason: Pro-Tak. In layman's terms, that means gang-tackling, which means gigantic pile-ups, which means this will look cooler than Joe Namath in a fur coat. Need another reason? How about the first fully online franchise mode?
Why It's Not:
Don’t let that "10" on the cover fool you -- this is the 21st version of Madden. Far be it from us to dissuade you from buying yet another copy, but if you bought last year's game, you already have a pretty great football game in your hands. New features aside, do you really need a new one?
Did You Know?
The dreaded Madden Curse gets a twofer this year, as Madden NFL 10 is the first in the franchise's history to feature multiple players on its hallowed cover. Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polamalu might want to lock the doors and stay inside for the next couple months.
