Famous fighters old and new step into the squared circle in EA's anticipated boxing game. Play as 48 legendary pros, or build your own bad boy from the ground up and try to become king of the ring in the game's imposing single-player Legacy mode.
Why It's Hot:
Just look at it. Thanks to what might be the most realistic graphics engine ever created for a sports game, you can literally watch muscles flex, shorts wrinkle and sweat fly. But while the look is super-sophisticated, the controls (which mostly involve the analog sticks, not the buttons) are eminently user-friendly. That's a one-two punch few can withstand.
Why It's Not:
The game's solo mode looks good on paper, but even the stellar reviews claim it's a bit bland.
