Ham III
Characterized by his flippant and cheeky demeanor, Ham is every bit the limelight-loving performer his name suggests. You'd never guess this distractible, goofy, disaster-prone circus chimp is the grandson of the first primate in space - a fact the more conscientious Space Agency chimps have a hard time believing. In the end, it's up to players to see whether the chimp we thought was just a ham can turn out to be a hero!

Luna
Constantly striving to be the perfect astronaut - earnest and dedicated to a fault, Luna's standards are daunting even to her, not to mention her fellow trainees. The only one not daunted is Ham, whose irreverence Luna finds utterly incomprehensible. While initially annoyed by his antics, little by little she grows to appreciate his humor.

Titan
The Mission Commander sees himself as the star... as in that around which all else revolves. Overconfident and under-whelmed by the new member of the team, he is annoyed by Ham's antics and dismisses the former circus-chimp as a joke. After being captured by the aliens on Malgor, however, Titan is forced to acknowledge the importance of teamwork when Ham and Luna risk their lives coming to his aid.

Houston
A salty old chimp, Houston is Ham's mentor, coach, and confidant. He knew Ham's grandfather, and when Ham balks at the space mission, it is Houston who convinces - even forces - him to go.

Comet
The youngest of the astro-chimps in training, Comet's got the heart of a hero but isn't quite ready for space because of his small size - he's just not big enough to pass the physical fitness tests administered to trainees. While he may not be fit to fly a shuttle, Comet is nonetheless integral to mission success: when the humans have given up on the return of the primates from space, it's Comet who helps guide the Infinity I to a safe landing.
