Sonic Heroes (2003)
But we know how the Dreamcast story winds up, and it's not a happy ending. Even so, although the Dreamcast was gone, Sonic still had the GameCube, the PlayStation 2, and the Xbox, and so Sonic Heroes became the first cross-platform release in Sonic's history. Sadly, it wasn't exactly his finest hour: the critics loathed it.
