Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (2007)
The Olympic ideal of differing nations coming together for friendly competition has never been more impressively applied. Former rivals Mario and Sonic, the superstars who personified the console wars through much of the 90s, appeared in the same video game this year, and the Beijing Olympics was the venue.
