Are those pesky Rabbids getting the better of you? Check out these helpful hints.
1. Make your TV party swiiiiing
Raving Rabbids is the perfect game for your Thanksgiving or holiday season parties. Just make sure you have enough Wii remotes and nunchuks (four of each is best, and will let you play games with up to eight players, with some swapping). Make sure no one button-mashes past each game's intro screens, because they give new players a quick diagrammatic control tutorial.
2. Get in shape
In the games that require you to sketch shapes with the remote, get in the habit of looking as far ahead as you can. Not only will you be able to make sure you're in position to start each one, but you'll also be able to kill two birds with one stone: if you spot two identical shapes coming at you, you can nail them both with a single sketch.
3. It's a balancing act
Playing with the Balance Board is great fun, but it's hard to be actually competitive with it. If you're working on unlocking new games or challenging for the lead on the online leaderboards, you're probably going to have to play it the old-fashioned way. Save the board for those times when you just want to play with your butt.
4. It's all in the wrist, baby
If you're struggling with the dancing games, try to exaggerate your gestures with a little wrist snap at the end. Aside from making you feel like a waiter at a nice California eatery, it'll give the game that extra nudge it needs to realize you did actually intend to pull that funky move and aren't just doing it because you like looking silly.
5. Get more of those Rabbids!
Simple though it is, we're big fans of the Rabbids' "Gaaaahhh!" warcry here at Yahoo!. If you just can't get enough of their antics, check out this ringtone generator, and let the Rabbids sing you your very own custom cellphone tone. Annoy your friends! Embarrass yourself at professional functions! Freak out squares! You just can't beat it.
