Sports fans and aspiring supersleuths, you're in for a good week. The latest batch of NBA games bounce on to shelves, and the latest in the tremendously popular Nancy Drew series sneaks to the PC. If neither basketball nor detecting is your strong suit, there's still plenty to see - but most publishers are keeping the lids on their real triple-A games for another few weeks. Here's Yahoo! Games' Purple Picks of the week.

Take the phone off the hook, lock the doors and turn down the lights -- there's a new Nancy Drew game hitting the street this week. Our eponymous heroine is off to the Emerald Isle this time, tackling the mysterious case of a storybook wedding ruined by a disappearing groom. Cold feet, or foul play? There's only one way to find out.
NBA Live 09
WATCH TRAILER
King of this week's three (count 'em!) basketball releases, NBA Live 09 is the latest in EA's smash hit series. This year's offering adds daily "Dynamic DNA" updates, new international teams, and a redesigned playcalling system to the usual suite of graphical enhancements. Look out for the specially designed Wii version, which will also be in stores this week.
