The Basics
Five Games in One! - While there is a linear story line and preferred order of play, it is possible to play any Episode in any order you choose.
Buttercup's Broken Heart - If you've beaten one of the Episodes and not received a Heart Piece for your efforts, that just means you haven't yet obtained the Heart Container, which will automatically fill in the Heart Pieces you've already won once you get the container.
Mastering the Game means more than just collecting the pieces of the heart. There are many extra bonus levels in each Episode that become available during play. You can also go back and replay previous levels to try and outdo your level score and increase your total High Score!
Gathering the Siege Machine Items is easier than you might think! If you miss any of the items during the first play-through, you can always go back and replay the movies.
Help Buttons are found in the top right-hand corner of your screen on the map and in the Episodes. The Help Button is useful for rereading through the tutorials if you get stuck or need additional information.
As You Wish

Keep Westley Busy by multitasking! While doing chores that require Westley at a certain location, it is possible to also use your mouse and perform other tasks that don't require him to move around, such as interacting with various farm animals.
Make Buttercup Happy by trying to focus on her wishes before your appointed chores and goals. Finishing her wishes before continuing the other tasks will help clear up free time to focus on them more effectively.
The More, the Merrier - You can choose to keep playing after you have finished your goals or click the "Finish Early" button under the Clock to end the day before the timer runs out. You can try to gain more point by continuing to stock up on items before the end of the day.
Battle of the Wits

Calling All Fans! - Many of the questions in the Battle of the Wits Episode are trivia from either the Princess Bride movie or the game itself.
The Guessing Game - Don't be afraid to guess if you don't know the answer, you won't be penalized for it.
The Fire Swamp

Girls Can Fight Too! - Buttercup will sometimes pick up a large branch which she can use to defend herself against Rodents Of Usual Size. Because she is so good at jumping, you might find it easier for her to attack special ROUSes, instead of Westley.
Teamwork is key to winning the Episode and making it out of The Fire Swamp safely. Most levels require Buttercup and Westley to work together to make it to the end. Having Westley gather a Multiplier Gem on one side of a room then moving Buttercup to a set of Gems on the other side of the room is another way to utilize teamwork to your advantage and gain extra points.
Your Scores are separated into two different instances: Room and Level scores. Room scores document your points from each individual room and Level scores document your total points from the individual Room scores in each level. You not only gain points by defeating ROUSes and gathering Gems, but the more you complete rooms and the levels by defeating ROUSes and gathering Gems, the more bonus points you will receive!
Miracle Max

The Hint Button is Your Friend - Found directly above the List in the Hidden Objects mini-game, the Hint Button will show you the exact image of a remaining unfound object from the List in the Found Items tray. This is extremely helpful if you do not know what the hidden object is supposed to look like.
Click Chains are a type of multiplier on points which occurs when you are able to find two or more objects in a row in a short span of time.
Starting Over is easy if you are having difficulty with a particular potion. The Start Over button will clear the Cauldron out back to the beginning, which may either be clear or already filled with a certain liquid in some cases.
Knowledge is Power - The Book to the right of the Cauldron is available to you as a reference. You can see what ingredients have been introduced so far in the Ingredients tab, and what potions you have so made far in the Gallery tab. The Goal tab also has a handy visual reference for what the end result of a potion should look like.
