"As You Wish": Time Managment
Westley stars in this segment inspired by the earlier scenes of the movie. Countless stages (assuming you can't count to 20) await you in this time-management game -- and countless tasks await poor Westley as he tries to satisfy the whims of Buttercup. Inspired by classics like Diner Dash and Burgertime, gameplay has you chopping wood, feeding chickens, growing carrots and milking cows -- but unlike most time-management games, Princess Bride swaps out the tasks so often that you won't get bored.
"Battle of the Wits": Puzzle
Can you best Vizzini in a battle of the wits? Fortunately, you don't have to go head to head with the Sicilian with poisoned wine -- but instead you'll have to face him down on his trivia knowledge. Wallace Shawn, who played Vizzini in the movie, voices the questions, but it's you who'll have to supply the answers. Good luck.
"Fire Swamp": Platforming/Action
Opening with a touching cut-scene where Buttercup discovers the true identity of her rescuer, Fire Swamp shares -- although this'll have the gaming hardcore raising their eyebrows -- more than a little with the PlayStation 2's classic platformer Ico. Westley and Buttercup must both negotiate the terrors of the Fire Swamp, facing platform puzzles, deadly jets of fire, and -- of course - the dreaded R.O.U.S.'s.
"Miracle Max": Hidden Object
If you want to bring Westley back from the mostly-dead, you're going to need to finish up this round of hidden-object and logic games. Tucked away in the dusty depths of Max's den are -- well, all sorts of things, really, and you'll have to find them all. These stages alternate with clever potion-creating minigames, where you must mix the right ingredients, in the right order, and without waste in order to succeed.
"Storming the Castle": Puzzle
Have you been paying attention to the animated intros and outros of The Princess Bride's various stages? Here's where you'll find out. In each animation lurks a particular object that you'll need to build a siege engine to break down the walls to Prince Humperdinck's castle. Get all the right objects together, and assembled in the right order, and -- oh, that'd be telling. You'll have to find that one out for yourself.
