The Xbox 360 is a pretty powerful machine, but it looks like it's not quite strong enough to keep the next Halo game all to itself.
Could Master Chief Fit In One Of These?
Multiple blogs picked up a curious Microsoft job listing on Careerbuilder regarding a project that will "blend console, web, and mobile to create an immersive Halo world that follows the dedicated Halo fan wherever they go."
The ad, which has since expired, was for a software development engineer adept at "building scalable online infrastructure and websites for large and passionate audiences."
Though details are scarce, it's no secret that Microsoft has big plans for the franchise. Since amicably parting ways with original Halo developer Bungie in 2007, Microsoft has been busy building an internal Halo team at their Redmond headquarters.
The jury's out on what exactly this new Halo project might be. Any guesses?
