Nyko Wii Charge Station

Nyko Wii Charge Station

Wii Charge Station (Nyko; $29.99)

The Wii remote uses standard AA batteries, and is a power-thirsty piece of gear. This charge station provides rechargeable batteries for a pair of remotes along with rubberized battery covers for a better grip.

Wii Licensed Component Cables (Nintendo; $29.99)

The Wii isn't supposed to be a high-def machine, but you can make the basic image look a bit better by using these component cables with a compatible television. The 480p signal won't take down the PS3's 1080p images, but does make Super Mario Galaxy a much prettier experience.

1GB SD Card (Various; $19.99 and up)

You'll find no shortage of SD card options to expand the Wii's storage capacity, and with holiday sales many will be available for a bargain. With the added flash memory you'll be able to store more Virtual Console games and saves.

2000 Wii Points (Nintendo; $19.99)

One of the Wii's best features is the Virtual Console, a software console emulator that can play classic games downloaded from Nintendo's online service. Games from past Nintendo systems cost from 500 to 1000 points each. Some classic games also require the Classic Controller ($19.99).
