Why It's Hot:
Superhero games are often toned down for mass consumption, but early previews make X-Men Origins: Wolverine out to be a bloodier God of War. Yeah, you read that right. Bloodier. We weren't aware that was possible, but it sounds awesome. Also, it's being handled by Raven Software, who crafted the well-regarded superhero game, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.
Why It's Not:
Remember that crummy Iron Man game? If you do, Sega apologizes. Even if the film is a huge hit, Logan's pointy claws might not be able to slice through the curse of the movie-licensed video game.
