Finally! Blizzcon is here and I couldn't be more ecstatic. Like a Blood Elf addicted to magic, I'm addicted to everything Blizzard creates, and I'm sure this year is going to be even better. Not only am I going to raid (pun intended) the event realms with my own level 70 Blood Elf Rogue (Blizzard's letting us copy our own characters direct to the event servers... WoW!), but I also firmly plan on losing my mind if Blizzard reveals any more Starcraft II gameplay as well.
Oh, yes, you heard correctly fellow World of Warcraft fans -- we can copy up to four of our own level 70 characters onto the event servers and play around in the new spots Blizzard releases in World of Warcraft. Last year, the Burning Crusade bomb dropped on us from above. This year, who knows? Is level 80 next on the menu? If so, noobs beware -- I fully plan on racing everyone to the cap as soon as possible. Perhaps we'll get another continent to explore? We know Blizzard has the resources to blow us away, so why hold back? Please, Blizzard, feel free to... avalanche. The Outlands are great, but I mean, a nomad can only stay in one place for so long, right?
Besides the latest WoW updates, I'm also excited to meet my fellow guildies in person again. While I personally don't have the crafting skills to create a costume in the likeness of my main, rest assured I'll be be snapping photos of you guys. I still retain fond memories of bumping into a rather scandalously clad Human Priestess last year. She may have been Alliance, but I'm willing to forgive her erroneous ways if we meet again. Besides, Blood Elves only have a slight hatred of Humankind. Sure, we'll Sap you in Stranglethorn or Gadgetzan just to watch you dizzily swirl around in place, but that's just for kicks. Well, not really. I do tend to finish what I start.
Anyway, what if Blizzard slaps us with a little Diablo news? Do you think you'll be able to contain yourself? I'm going straight to Hell if I hear anything -- the virtual Hell, that is. Then I can finally say the classic line I've been waiting to say to everyone in attendance... "Hot enough for ya?" Lolz. Sorry, couldn't resist. But yes, Diablo news, please, Blizzard. Anything you have. We'll take it.
Well, to all of you as pumped up for Blizzcon 2007 as I am, let's all do a /dance to let everyone else know what they're missing out on. Oh, and to all the squiddy Dranei - /rude. Can't wait to pwn ya in the tournaments! Just kidding. /hug. See you all there!
